Paul McCartney thought of her while writing "Eleanor Rigby", one of the most famous songs by The Beatles, and she also inspired the lyric for the Marillion song "Cover My Eyes", a UK Top 40 hit from their 1991 album "Holidays in Eden".
She was one of the first female performers of the Cambridge Footlights Revue in 1959. It used to be all male with the female characters portrayed by men in drag.
Had two older brothers; record producer Gerry Bron (1933-2012) and Anthony Bron (b. 1936).
