On the morning of September 11th 2001 cameraman Paul Berriff was due to film a documentary, but he headed to the World Trade Center the moment he heard of the first plane striking the north tower. This decision placed him directly underneath the stricken towers…. When most were heading in the opposite direction, Paul raced to the base of the towers to record the unfolding rescue operations amid the carnage wrought on New York's streets.
