Becky Bentham has been working in the music industry since 1987 at PRS.
She then worked as post production co-ordinator for Goldcrest Films and
Roger Cherrills facilities before managing post production audio
studios in Sydney (Australia).
From 1993-2002 Becky worked as a Film Music Supervisor and Composer
Agent at Air-Edel Associates, working closely with composers,
directors, and producers handling all aspects of music production -
from briefing, composer placement, budgeting, booking musicians,
studios and technical equipment, organising creative teams
(orchestrators, conductors, programmers, copyists, music editors,
engineers etc.), to copyright clearance, negotiation of composer/artist
contracts, through to final delivery of music. In May 2002 Becky
Bentham and Karen Elliott opened a new Composer Agency and Music
Supervision Company, 'Hothouse Music', representing composers such as
Hans Zimmer, Anne Dudley, Michael Kamen, Mark Isham, Rupert
Gregson-Williams and Christopher Gunning.
