- Shot two days on the Montreal set for The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002). Appreared in front row during Jay Mohr's entrance for the "Fly Me To The Moon" sequence. Steve is swinging the 1st row in front of Eddie Murphy. Close up reaction shots were filmed but cut from release however, Steve appears in the preview for the movie.
- Was cast to play a young Herb Smith in The Dead Zone (2002) (Episode: Big Top) at age 40 in a flashback scene in which he scolds a very young Johnny Smith to keep him from showing anyone that he has special powers. The scene was shot but due to the series being canceled shortly after, the scene was cut from the broadcast as Tom Skerritt was cast to play an older Herb in the very last episode of the series.
