Brian Cox and Alan Cumming become honorary Spice Girls in AppleTV+’s first look at their upcoming Carpool Karaoke: The Series episode.
The Scottish actors and longtime friends are taking the wheel and will be co-hosting the award-winning show on March 31. In a teaser clip, the Succession star gets candid with his friend.
“Now you see, there’s one thing I am really quite envious of what you’ve done,” Cox tells Cumming. “What would that be?” the Schmigadoon! star replies. “Well,” Cox begins and then looks mysteriously to the backseat to see if anyone will overhear him, “Spice Girls.” To which his friend responds, “Seriously? You’re a Spice Girls fan?”
“I’m a closet Spice Girls fan,” Cox says before Cumming kicks off their sing-along with “If You Wanna Be My Lover.”
After about 30 seconds of semi-off-key singing, the Succession actor chimes in again, saying, “I’m so glad that’s over.

When Kevin and Michael Bacon aren’t making films or composing for film and television, the brothers can be found making music with their six-piece band, The Bacon Brothers, formed more than 20 years. On Sunday, they traded entertainment for cycling, participating in fundraising for a cause near to them: beating cancer.
“I don’t think there’s really anybody that isn’t somehow connected to somebody who’s been touched by cancer. It’s sort of a no brainer to come here,” the Footloose star, 58, shared with People as he sat next to his brother, a cancer survivor treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center,...

Befitting his gene pool, Seth Meyers says his son Ashe Olson boasts a budding sense of humor — and has even perfected his cocktail-party laugh!
“He makes us laugh constantly,” the Late Night host, 43, tells People at a New York Cycle for Survival event, which raised funds for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and also brought out brothers Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon — the latter a cancer survivor himself.

Nashville, Tenn. — Country music has been good to the rapper Nelly, and he's back in Music City because of it.
Nelly will perform the crossover hit "Cruise" with country duo Florida Georgia Line during the Cmt Music Awards. The imaginary, but once impenetrable, lines between American music genres are blurring more each day, and Nelly's happy to serve as an eraser.
"Obviously our views today aren't the same as our grandparents', so when you look at the way the youth migrates and the way everything intertwines, the Internet has brought so many people together around the world in the same place at the same time," said Nelly, who's also scored a hit with Tim McGraw.
"Music was only in line to be integrated like that. It's a beautiful thing because you want your kids to be multifaceted. You want your kids to experience a lot more than you did as a child,...

The Movie Pool gets a grip on the virtual reality of the Vr Troopers Season One Volume One DVD set!
The Set-up
Three young heroes do battle in a virtual reality dimension, as one of them seeks to find his missing father. The Volume One DVD set includes the first 26 episodes of the first season.
The Delivery
With its premiere in 1994, Vr Troopers was Saban's attempt to replicate the success of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers the year before. Utilizing Japanese footage with American actors, Vr Troopers treads over much of the same thematic territory as Power Rangers. The twist here is the bad guys, led by Grimlord, want to cross over from the Vr dimension into our dimension and take it over.
I'm sure you're wondering how a virtual reality can actually be a dimension to cross over from, which would negate the "virtual" part, but let's not sweat the technical details.

Since it's virtually impossible to keep up on all the latest "Twilight" news -- unless, you know, you're a "Twilight" blogger or Godmother Meyer herself -- I'm trying something new with the menu this week, and if you like it, will make it a regular special.
Introducing Twi-Bites, a roundup of the latest and craziest "Twi"-news you and I live for (and occasionally cry over). Try them. They're delicious. And unlike Berry Cobbler, they won't go straight to your thighs.
I'll be breaking them into easily digestible courses: Pattz Stew Du Jour (the latest in Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart news), Unconditionally and Irrevocably in Love (the buzzworthy relationships of "Twilight" stars), Vamp Buzz (industry news about "Twilight" or vampires in general), Glowering Report (celebrities in my doghouse for something they did or said about "Twilight") and Twi-Hard of the Month (self-explanatory; won't always be me).
Bon appetit.
