- Jorge Arvizu was born on July 23, 1932 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was an actor and producer, known for El asesino del metro (1991), Zapata (1970) and Cuestión de honor (1993). He died on March 18, 2014 in Mexico City, Mexico.
- He was the Latin-American voice of Fred Flintstone in "The Flintstones"(1960). And he also characterized Huckleberry Hound (formerly dubbed to Spanish by Alberto Gavira), Choo-Choo and Benny the Ball (from the classic "Top Cat" series), So-So, Mushmouse, among many other classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons that Arvizu dubbed for Latin America.
- He dubbed some Warner Bros. cartoons of the 30s and 40s. In fact, Arvizu was the Bugs Bunny's first Latin-American voice.
