Exclusive: Fresh off completing shooting in New Mexico, the Taika Waititi executive produced feature Frybread Face and Me now has some heavy hitters on board to see the Billy Luther-directed film over the finish line.
Charles D King’s Macro, along with River Road and Rei Co-op Studios, have teamed with Chad Burris’ Indion Entertainment to finance the Indigenous coming-of-age tale.
“We cannot measure our gratitude for the support and encouragement the film has received from our partners,” Burris told Deadline. “Equally immeasurable is the value these dynamic partners bring collectively through their commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices and perspectives. Their shared enthusiasm is apparent in the projects they choose to champion and the reason they are great partners for this film.”

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner called the famous 1971 "Hilltop" Coke ad, which closed out the beloved AMC series, "the best ad ever made," during a chat with author A.M. Homes at the New York Public Library, The New York Times reports. "That ad is so much of its time, so beautiful — I don't think it's as villainous as the snark of today thinks it is."
Juxtaposed with a final shot of Don Draper/Dick Whitman seemingly at peace on the California coast, the "Hilltop" TV spot proved to be an apt,...

Due to both lack of sleep from reviewing the finale, and the sheer weight of the show being over, it's been hard for me to think about anything but "Mad Men" today. I put most of my thoughts about "Person to Person" into last night's review, and we can all continue to debate over there about the meaning of the final scene in terms of what Don did and didn't write, and what that says about his character arc after the series is over. Today, though, rather than dive into screeners of another '60s drama with Manson references ("Aquarius") or another AMC drama about a mysterious man in a suit ("Halt and Catch Fire"), I wanted to write about some odds and ends that didn't make their way into the finale review. That's all coming up just as soon as I find a way to communicate, without words, how...

Bristol Palin loves the gays. Really. She does. Really.
During the Dancing With The Stars: All Stars panel, newly announced returning contestants Bristol Palin and Pam Anderson were asked together what they thought of the gays. Anderson, still stunning in trademark combo of tight dress, great hair and big boobs, said simply “I love them.” Palin, however, raised her ire when she was also asked what she’ll do if paired with a gay dancer, and exclaimed, “You know what? I like gays. I’m not a homophobic, and I’m so sick of people saying that.

Title: Punching the Clown Directed By: Gregori Viens Starring: Henry Phillips, Ellen Ratner, Matthew Walker, Audrey Siegel, Guilford Adams, Evan Arnold, Mark Cohen, Mik Scriba Punching the Clown grew from a documentary director and writer Gregori Viens made with co-writer and star Henry Phillips back in 1997. The plan was to turn it into a fictionalized narrative feature and while they did find a super chic production company to fly them to London and Paris to secure financing, that’s about as far as they got. From there it was a typical indie filmmaking experience resulting in maxed out credit cards and the entire thing being shot on a semi-professional Panasonic Hpx [...]...

A few days ago I posted promo photos for the December 3rd episode of Bones (next week will be pre-empted) and now we have a promo video for you. It's a gamer-centric episode (and an Avatar-centric episode in a brilliant cross-promotion move by Fox because they really want to recoup the $300 million they spent on making the James Cameron picture).

Oh my God, how much do I love Bones? Answer: A Lot. If you've been watching trailers for Avatar, you will have noticed Joel David Moore, who has played intern Colin Fisher on several episodes of Bones. Well, Moore is back and there's a big cross-promotion going on as Sweets and Fisher take turns camping out for tickets to the opening on Avatar. Bones And Avatar in one episode? It's like Nutella and peanut butter together on toast (try it, it's yummy). It's also funny and awesome.
Fox has released promo photos and a synopsis for the December 3rd episode and you can check them out below. Also, take a peek at the promo photos for the November 19th episode, where Booth's grandfather makes an appearance. Then it's a week's break until the December 3rd episode.
