Rosie O’Donnell (A League of Their Own) has joined the cast of And Just Like That… for Season 3, she revealed in a new Instagram post.
The note shows a photo of her script from the show’s premiere titled “Outlook Good” and the name of her character, Mary. Episode 301 will be written and directed by Michael Patrick King. Sarah Jessica Parker’s character is Carrie, so hopefully Carrie and Mary will be sharing lots of screen time.
Parker, as well as other cast members like Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Evan Handler, Mario Cantone, Sarita Choudhury and Katerina Tannenbaum shared photos from the first day of production on social media.
Season 3 will not see the return of at least two actors. Karen Pittman stepped away from the series where she played Nya Wallace for two seasons, leaving things up in the air with the hot chef, played by Gary Dourdan, as Deadline revealed exclusively in March.

If you’ve been wondering when a heist movie would wed traditional bank-robbing sequences with the current fixation on cryptocurrency, “Cash Out” is here to answer that question. And yet little about this John Travolta vehicle feels new or even timely, as the would-be thriller directed by Ives trades exclusively in shopworn tropes that by now are de rigueur for the genre. It is, as you might imagine, the story of one last job before our protagonist can finally hang it up for good — which is also how one imagines the role itself might have been pitched to Travolta.
The actor, who at this point is like a past-his-prime slugger dragging down his career batting average, brings a familiar name to “Cash Out” but none of the vibrancy we’ve seen from him in the past. He stars as Mason Goddard, whom we meet as he and his femme-fatale inamorata...

Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis have grown close over the years thanks to the show. So when Davis had to work with Parker’s husband Matthew Broderick in a movie, things became uncomfortable when the two had to get too close.
Kristin Davis once looked back at her awkward bed scene with Matthew Broderick Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Kristin Davis | Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage
Broderick and Davis had already known each other for years behind the scenes. But they collaborated for the first time in the 2006 Christmas film Deck the Halls. The feature was a comedy about two neighbors fighting over Holiday decorations, with Davis playing Broderick’s wife.
Working with Davis wasn’t a big deal for the Ferris Bueller star, especially since the movie wasn’t heavy in romance. Parker also helped put in a good word for her Sex and the City co-star.

Cash Out opens with Mason Goddard and his crew stealing an outrageously expensive supercar as what he intends to be his last heist. Things don’t go as planned however as one of them, his girlfriend Amelia no less, is an undercover FBI agent. He barely escapes, and since he was already planning to retire, takes it one step further, he fakes his death and drops out of sight.
Three months later, his brother Shawn drops by trying to interest him in coming out of retirement for one more job. That doesn’t work, but when another member of the crew, Link calls he’s packing and on his way to the airport.
The next thing we know, Mason and Shawn are kidnapping a bank manager and the plan is in motion.

Cynthia Nixon is detailing a scrapped Sex and the City scene that was shot similarly to Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 horror film Psycho.
The actress, who reprised her role as Miranda for And Just Like That, a revival of the hit series, shared on the latest episode of the Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson podcast why the episode ultimately had to be reshot.
“[It’s] in that episode where Miranda’s not having sex but she’s eating a lot of chocolate cake and she tries to buy a whole cake and it’s like $80 and she’s like, ‘This is ridiculous. I’m not going to spend $80,’” Nixon said of the scene. “So she goes and buys like a Duncan Hines mix and makes herself a cake. And then she can’t stop eating it. In the early 90s, producer Aaron Spelling and TV creator Darren Star struck primetime drama gold with the high school soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. The show laid the groundwork for some good old-fashioned scheduled viewing for homes waiting to see what kinds of trouble the kids at West Beverly would get into. While the series would get to put its characters in some compromising situations like Brandon’s gambling, Brenda‘s pregnancy scare, Dylan’s drug use or Donna Martin graduating, Spelling would explore more steamy stories with the spin-off Melrose Place. The show would crossover stars as Beverly’s Dylan and Kelly befriended Melrose resident Jake. And when Heather Locklear was added to the cast, the show’s popularity would skyrocket.

A revival of ’90s hit “Melrose Place” is in the works at CBS Studios, with original stars Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton set to return, TheWrap has learned.
The Darren Star-created night-time soap followed the complicated lives of several 20-somethings who lived in a Los Angeles apartment complex called Melrose Place, where the drama included a bombing, a drowning and a “Dynasty”-esque pool fight.
Locklear played advertising exec Amanda Woodward, whose addition to the show late in the first season helped boost ratings at the time. Zuniga played Jo Reynolds on the series from 1992 to 1999 while Leighton played Sydney Andrews, sister of Josie Bassett’s character Jane.
Lauren Gussis of “Dexter” and “Insatiable” fame is set to write and executive produce the revival, which would see the “Og residents” returning when one of their friends die. Per the logline, the reunion “uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances,...

Apparently TV can’t get enough “Melrose Place.” The campy sudser from the 1990s, which was already rebooted once in the 2010s, is looking to make another comeback — and this time with three of the Og stars. Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga are all back to reprise their roles in the latest reboot, this time from writer Lauren Gussis.
Gussis will also exec produce with Leighton, Zuniga, Tiffany Grant and Jason Weinberg. Here’s the logline: “When one of their dearest friends dies suddenly, the Og residents of Melrose Place gather to honor the deceased. But the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”
CBS Studios is behind the reboot, based on the series created by Darren Star.

Kirsten Dunst attended the Los Angeles premiere of her latest dystopian action film, Civil War, before its April 12 release in US theaters. She exuded understated elegance in a black Rodarte dress, far different from the coquette-style mint green dress she wore to the film’s London screening last week.
Her previous dress also had a subtle elegance, but I wasn’t particularly fond of the silhouette or the styling.
I’m glad she gave the sleek, contemporary aesthetic another shot with this Rodarte creation. It reminds me of her white Gucci dress at the Oscars, and I hope she sticks with this look as it suits her so well compared to her typical printed, dated red carpet outfit choices.

Kristin Davis is known for TV series and movies like “Just Like That” and “Sex and the City“, and you won’t she has turned 59, recently she shared a make-up-free selfie and she looked as beautiful as ever!
You all must agree with me when I say that in today’s world, we all use filters to click pictures and shoot videos for ourselves very few of us have the guts to take pictures and videos without using filters because we know that we look beautiful in artificial filters.
But recently a very popular actress shared her no-filter natural camera look and she was quite praised by all her fans on social media.
Yes, you are guessing it right here we are talking about Kristin Davis who shared a very beautiful picture of her on her Instagram account which was quite praised by her fans because in that selfie she is all-natural.

Sex and the City has been a trailblazing staple of the small screen since it first debuted in 2008 on HBO, but that doesn’t mean all of it holds up upon modern review. There is some serious debate right now as to whether Gen Z viewers who might discover the show anew — now that it’s streaming in full on Netflix — will enjoy what the show has to offer the way millennials and Gen X-ers did when it was still on air. The show follows four single women — Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) — living in Manhattan, partying, and having lots of sex. For those who grew up on HBO’s oft-compared female-centered follow-up Girls, this might not seem so revolutionary, but at the time, it was. That being said, though the show was progressive in many areas at the time,...

Sex and the City was a smash hit for HBO. Premiering in 1998, the series ran for six seasons, spawned two movies (although we'd prefer to forget that the second one ever came out), and a prequel series (The Carrie Diaries on The CW).
And while there was great excitement over And Just Like That..., the reboot was somewhat marred from the outset with the harassment allegations against Chris Noth, the lack of Samantha (Kim Cattrall), and the introduction of the polarizing Che Diaz.
The series has expanded its circle of friends from the original, bringing in Seema, Nya, and Lisa as foils and sidekicks for Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, respectively.
Long-time fans enjoyed seeing Anthony find a new partner and learning more about Stanford's life in Japan. Season 2 of And Just Like That... also saw much growth from our leading ladies.
Carrie found and then lost Aidan, at least for the time being.

This post was originally published in July 2023. We’ve updated it to coincide with “Sex and the City” coming to Netflix April 1.
Seasons change, and so do cities. One thing that doesn’t? Fans’ enduring love for “Sex and the City,” the HBO comedy that premiered in 1998.
Endlessly spoofed but also deeply, earnestly loved by millions (there are honestly very fun location tours in NYC running several times a week) the groundbreaking series wrapped its original six-season, 94-episode run in 2004, with a not-terrible, not-great 2008 feature film and a truly terrible sequel following in 2010. In 2021, spinoff series “And Just Like That” — without Kim Cattrall’s iconic Samantha Jones — premiered on Max (née HBO Max). A second season of “And Just Like That” began airing in June 2023, following the misadventures of a 50-something Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda. The spinoff show has received mixed reviews from fans and critics — the less said about Che Diaz,...

It’s been 26 years since Sex and the Citydebuted on HBO and changed not only the television landscape but also the way we think and talk about sex, relationships, and fashion. Created by Darren Star and based on Candace Bushnell’s wildly popular columns turned book, the show aired from 1998–2004, redefining women’s relationships to men, friends, cupcakes, shoes, and singlehood itself, as I write in my book Sex and the City and Us. And while their stories keep coming in the spin-off And Just Like That…, the original remains the gold standard of glamorous single woman TV: Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) are still the friends we love to laugh and cry with, roll our eyes and cringe at, go clubbing and shopping with. So, with all six seasons of Sex and the City now streaming on Netflix, raise a...

Karen Pittman, who played Nya Wallace on And Just Like That, will not be returning for the upcoming third season of the hit Max series.
A spokesperson for Max shared in a statement with The Hollywood Reporter Friday, “It has been a joy to have Karen Pittman play the smart and stunning Professor Nya Wallace on the first two seasons of And Just Like That… As we have thoroughly enjoyed working with this dynamic actress, so too have others.”
The streamer noted that due to Pittman’s commitments to other shows, “it has become apparent that filming three shows at once isn’t possible.” The actress also stars on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show and Netflix’s upcoming show Forever.
The statement continued, “Due to the production realities, we are disappointed to announce that scheduling conflicts will not allow us to continue with this character as part of...

And just like that, another And Just Like That… cast member is out the door.
Karen Pittman, who played Nya Wallace on Max’s Sex and the City continuation, is leaving the series ahead of the upcoming Season 3, according to our sister site Deadline. The exit is reportedly not due to a creative decision but to scheduling issues, with Pittman also co-starring in Apple TV+’s The Morning Show and the upcoming Netflix series Forever.

Karen Pittman won’t be returning for “And Just Like That” Season 3. Pittman, who played professor Nya Wallace in the Max series for two seasons, has exited the show ahead of its third installment. Her departure arises from production conflicts, according to Max, amid her recent casting in Netflix’s “Forever” and her series regular role in “The Morning Show,” which was bumped up from a recurring role in Season 1.

Exclusive: A fan-favorite character is leaving And Just Like That… Karen Pittman, who played Nya Wallace in the first two seasons of the Sex and the City sequel, will not be returning for the upcoming third season of the hit Max series.
Pittman was already a series regular on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show when she was cast in And Just Like That…, originally as a recurring in Season 1; she was upped to a series regular in Season 2. Earlier this month, she also was tapped for a starring role in Forever, Netflix’s upcoming drama series reimagining Judy Blume’s novel from Mara Brock Akil.
This put Pittman in the middle of a scheduling conundrum involving three high-profile series on three major streamers filming new seasons this year within similar timeframes.
According to sources, there was every intention for Pittman to be in Season 3 of Ajlt, and Nya was written into the scripts.

The cast of And Just Like That… took a big break from filming. The cast finished filming for season 2 in April 2023. Now, they are ready to head back to the set for season 3. While the cast is getting ready to hit the streets of New York, they are staying very quiet about what Sex and the City fans can expect from season 3 of the reboot. An Instagram story might hint that Carrie Bradshaw’s new apartment, featured in season 2, will be part of the story.

Remember, back in the day, when one name directors was a thing? Like some kind of cool branding for the late 90s and early 00s? Ives does. Looking to make a statement not only with their debut crime thriller, Cash Out, but also this psuedonym. John Travolta and Kristin Davis star in Cash Out In theaters, on Digital and On Demand April 26, 2024. They star along with Lukas Haas and Quavo (Quavious Keyate Marshall of Migos). The trailer arrived yesterday. Check it out down below. "You just have to keep one step ahead of her." Saban Films has unveiled the trailer for a crime thriller titled Cash Out, from a filmmaker known as "Ives", debuting to watch at the end of April. Yet another of these dime a dozen, extremely derivative crime thrillers. This one is about a bank robbery gone wrong. When his crew's bank heist goes wrong, Mason gets trapped with his team inside the bank they’re trying to rob, and then it all evolves to a hostage situation involving Swat teams, the FBI and Interpol. How will they get out of this high stakes trap? John Travolta stars as Mason, with Kristin Davis, Quavo, Lukas Haas, Swen Temmel, Sean Astin, and Noel Gugliemi. Apparently there is already a sequel to Cash Out that's shot and ready to go - filmed in 2023 after this one filmed in 2022. Huh. This looks so forgettably...

Charlotte York has the most successful marriage in Sex and the City. Her relationship with Harry Goldenblatt is considered the perfect relationship by many fans. Fans are happy for the fictional Park Avenue Princess. After all, she deserved her happy ending after her disastrous first marriage. Still, if you think about it, Charlotte learned nothing from her marriage to Trey MacDougal. She rushed into marriage No. 2, too.
Charlotte York’s first marriage should have never happened
Charlotte York was obsessed with getting married from the moment Sex and the City started, so it was no surprise that she was the first member of her girl group to tie the knot. The marriage, however, shouldn’t have ever happened.

No April Fools’ Day joke here: Sex and the City really will be joining the Netflix library on April 1. Fans learned earlier this winter that the HBO comedy would be streaming on Netflix sometime next month, and in an X post on Saturday, the streamer revealed April 1 as the premiere date. That means Netflix users will soon see Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall navigate love and life in New York City as Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha in all 94 episodes of the hit show. But Max subscribers need not worry: Sex and the City will continue to stream on Warner Bros. Sex and the City has landed a premiere date on Netflix.
All six seasons of the hit HBO series, which have previously only been available on Max, will now be streaming on Netflix for the first time starting April 1 (Satc will still be available on HBO’s streaming service as well).
The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that HBO parent company Warner Bros. Discovery made a content agreement with Netflix last July, which included a licensing deal for several series. Other shows that were part of the deal included Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under, Ballers, Insecure and True Blood.
In less than one month, all 94 episodes of the original hit show, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, will hit Netflix. It’s not an April Fool’s joke – Sex and the City is bowing on Netflix on April 1.
The series is one of HBO’s most important library titles and has a modern spinoff series in And Just Like That… The latter remains exclusive to Max.
Deadline revealed last June that Warner Bros. Discovery struck a deal to license a number of titles to Netflix, including Insecure, Ballers, and Six Feet Under.
Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos has signaled that he is looking for more licensed content.
“I believe because of our distribution heft and our recommendation system that sometimes we can uniquely add more value to the studio’s IP than they can,” Sarandos told investors last year. “Not all the time, but sometimes it does, and we are the best buyer for it. Sex and the City expanded its audience and its story with its 2008 feature named after the series. But the film’s star, Sarah Jessica Parker, felt the second movie had an element to it that the first lacked.

The first Sex and the City feature was such a success that it spawned a second highly profitable movie. But Sex and the City 2 was very different from the first film. The movie would follow the girls halfway across the world in Abu Dhabi, away from their familiar playground in New York City. The film’s director Michael Patrick King, who also produced the show, intentionally did so to separate it from the first feature.
“My inspiration for this movie was the audience at the first movie,” King once told Collider.

With haute couture week in Paris concluded, the spotlight of the fashion world shifted en masse to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the village perched on the Maritime Alps in southern France. Simon Porte Jacquemus chose it as the location to present his new collection for 2024 in the Maeght Foundation, a few kilometers from Nice, calling together his high-profile friends Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, model (and girlfriend, reportedly, of Leonardo DiCaprio) Vittoria Ceretti and Deva Cassel (daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel) who paraded on a platform set up among the works of Joan Miró, Marc Chagall, Alexander Calder and Alberto Giacometti.
Not surprisingly, the collection of 47 looks, both women’s and men’s, was given the name “Les Sculptures” by the French designer (who himself grew up in the south of France, in the town of Mallemort, not far from Marseille). And just like that, "Sex and the City" is being licensed to Netflix by Warner Bros. Discovery, parent company of HBO and the owner of its own streaming service, Max. The newest spinoff series in the Walking Dead Universe will star Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as they reprise their roles of Rick Grimes and Michonne, respectively, after the events of the original series. Per the logline, “Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive… or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?”

And just like that, one of HBO’s most iconic hits is heading over to its biggest streaming rival.
All six seasons of the Emmy-winning comedy Sex and the City are going to stream on Netflix for the first time. The show will reportedly be added to the platform in April as a co-exclusive with Max (so Satc will still be available on HBO’s streaming service as well).
The licensing deal is part of a content agreement that HBO parent company Warner Bros. Discovery made with Netflix last July, but Satc was not originally announced as part of that package.
While Netflix is getting all 94 episodes of the original show — which launched in 1998 and starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall as four friends in New York City — the streamer is not getting the Sex and the City movies or its current sequel series, And Just Like That (at least,...

Carrie Bradshaw and the rest of the “Sex and the City” coterie are heading to a binge-watching date on Netflix.
Netflix has inked a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to license all six seasons of the popular HBO dramedy, comprising all 94 episodes, Variety confirmed. “Sex and the City” will land on Netflix in early April 2024.
The deal is not worldwide: The series will be available in the U.S. and several other European markets, sources familiar with the pact said. In addition, the deal does not include the two “Satc” feature-length films, nor does it include the recent spin-off “And Just Like That,” which is currently streaming only on Wbd’s Max.
In “Sex and the City,” which originally aired on HBO from 1998-2004, Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Bradshaw, a New York writer who “finds inspiration for her column from the genuine, emotional and often humorous exploits of her friends and lovers.

Updated: And just like that, Netflix is close to tying up another major content licensing deal.
Netflix will start streaming Sex and the City as early as April after reaching an agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery, Deadline has confirmed.
A deal for Sex and the City would be a major coup for Netflix. It is one of HBO’s most important library titles and has a modern spinoff series in the shape of And Just Like That… The latter is set to remain exclusive to Max.
For Netflix, these licensing deals can unlock old titles to many millions of its members, as was seen with Suits, which became the hottest show of last summer. For Warner Bros. Discovery, licensing is increasingly seen as a way of sweating its assets as Netflix cements its dominance in the streaming game.
