Daniel Levy is a multi-hyphenate Emmy® award winning showrunner, writer, actor, director, and producer who has built his career telling vibrant and comedic stories, establishing himself as a Hollywood mainstay.
Levy recently launched his new film and television production company, Not a Real Production Company. Not A Real Production Company debuted its first series, The Big Brunch, on HBO Max in November 2022. Levy not only created the series but also hosts and serves as a judge alongside Chef Sohla El-Waylly and restaurateur Will Guidara. Additionally, the company has several projects in various stages of development including an adult animated comedy Standing By for Hulu, which he co-created with Ally Pankiw. Levy is currently in post-production on his directorial debut Good Grief, an original film at Netflix, which he wrote, produced and stars in. The company recently began its new overall television deal with Netflix, where it also has a first-look feature film deal.
Up next, Levy will be joining the season 4 cast of Netflix's acclaimed dramedy Sex Education playing the character Thomas Molloy, a famous author, and Maeve's (Emma Mackey) US course tutor at her Ivy League college. Levy has also joined the ensemble cast of HBO Max's upcoming series The Idol, created by Sam Levinson and The Weeknd, as well as Disney's upcoming Haunted Mansion remake. Recently, Levy appeared in Hulu's holiday rom-com Happiest Season, and starred alongside Bette Midler, Sarah Paulson, Issa Rae, and Kailtyn Dever in HBO's Coastal Elite. Levy made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in February 2021.
Levy is best known for his work on one of the most beloved shows on television, Schitt's Creek, which he co-created with his father Eugene Levy. The series received nine Emmy® wins for its sixth and final season, breaking major records becoming the most awarded comedy series in a single year, the first comedy or drama series to sweep all four acting categories and receiving the most wins for a comedy series in its final season. Levy and his father also became the first father-son pair to win Emmys in the same year, and Levy impressively tied the record for most wins by an individual in a single season with four total wins. Additionally, in its final season, Schitt's Creek garnered dozens of awards and more than 100 nominations including: five Critics Choice Award nominations, securing two wins for Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress in a Comedy Series; five SAG Award nominations, collecting two wins for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble and Actress in a Comedy Series; GLAAD Media Award win for Best Comedy Series; won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy; two TCA Award nominations, winning for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy; and a Costume Design Guild Award for Excellence in Contemporary Television. Levy was also recognized as one of the Grand Marshals for NYC Pride 2020. In 2019, the show received four Emmy® nominations including Best Comedy Series, a 2019 TCA Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, Levy won Best Comedic Performance at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, and was honored by GLAAD with the Davidson/Valentini Award.
Levy began his television career co-hosting MTV Canada's flagship show MTV Live and later co-wrote, co-hosted, and co-produced the critically-acclaimed ratings hit The After Show and its various incarnations, including The Hills: The After Show and The City: Live After Show. Levy also wrote, produced, and starred in his own Christmas special for MTV, Daniel Levy's Holi-Do's & Don'ts, co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet, the X-Factor pre-show, national coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Games for CTV, co-hosted The Great Canadian Baking Show, and has also made a guest appearance on Modern Family. Elizabeth Stamatina Fey was born in 1970 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia, to Xenobia "Jeanne" (Xenakes), a brokerage employee, and Donald Henry Fey, who wrote grant proposals for universities. Her mother is Greek, born in Piraeus, while her father had German, Northern Irish, and English ancestry. Going by the name of Tina, Fey considered herself a "supernerd" during her high school and college years. She studied drama at the University of Virginia, and after graduating in 1992, she headed to Chicago, the ancestral home of American comedy. While working at a YMCA to support herself, she started Second City's first set of courses. After about nine months, a teacher told her to just skip ahead and audition for the more selective Second City Training Center. She failed but about eight weeks later, she re-auditioned and got into the year-long program. She ended up spending many years at The Second City in Chicago where many SNL cast members first started out. Then in 1995, Saturday Night Live (1975) came to The Second City's cast, including Fey's friend, Adam McKay, as a writer, searching for new talent. What they found was Tina Fey. When Adam was made Head writer, he suggested Fey should send a submission packet over the summer with six sketches, 10 pages each. Tina took the advice and sent them. After Lorne Michaels met her and saw her work she was offered a job a week later. She admitted that she was extremely nervous working in the legendary Studio 8H; being a foot shorter than everyone else, younger, and being one of the only female writers at the time. After a few years, Tina made history by becoming the first female head writer in the show's history. Tina also made her screen debut as a featured player during the 25th season by co-anchoring Weekend Update with Jimmy Fallon. Since Tina and Jimmy have taken over Weekend Update it has been considered the best ever. This year she made it to full fledged star by becoming a regular cast member, though she is hardly on the show, besides Update. And during the past two summers, Tina and Rachel Dratch performed their two-woman show to critical acclaim in both Chicago (1999) and New York (2000) and made their Aspen Comedy Festival Debut. Larry Wilmore was born in Los Angeles and grew up in suburban Pomona. He graduated from Damien High School in La Verne in 1979. He began his acting career in the 1980s on shows like The Facts of Life (1979) and Sledge Hammer! (1986) but was then always miscast.
He got his behind-the-scenes career started on Into the Night (1990) as a writer. He also wrote for a sketch comedy, In Living Color (1990), and a sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990). He created (with Eddie Murphy and Steve Tompkins) and produced The PJs (1999), a prime-time animated series. He also created and executive produced The Bernie Mac Show (2001), which won him an Emmy for writing. He executive produced Whoopi (2003), a sitcom developed by Whoopi Goldberg. He was a consulting producer on the first three seasons of The Office (2005). He is also an executive producer on Black-ish (2014).
In 2006, he began appearing on Comedy Central's The Daily Show (1996) as the Senior Black Correspondent. Linwood was the second youngest of four sons. He grew up with a strict mother, Eileen, and was enrolled in a gifted program at school. Linwood's first behind-the-scenes work was as writer and producer on the NBC series Silver Spoons (1982) (1985-86) and Night Court (1984) (1986-88). After developing an adaptation of the popular British sci-fi comedy "Red Dwarf" for American television that disappointingly didn't get past the pilot stage, Boomer moved on to the relatively short-lived sitcoms Flying Blind (1992) (Fox, 1992-93) and The Boys Are Back (1994) (CBS, 1994-95), writing episodes for both and serving as executive consultant of the former and co-executive producer of the latter. In 1996, he was one of the executive producers of the hit NBC sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996) and the failed ABC entry Townies (1996). While he also served in the same capacity for the edgy but controversial animated series God, the Devil and Bob (2000) (NBC, 2000), he found immediate success with the envelope-pushing Fox family comedy Malcolm in the Middle (2000) (2000- ). A mid-season replacement, "Malcolm" quickly won an audience with its boldly realistic yet off-kilter comedy focused on a struggling middle-class family of six: high-strung disciplinarian mother Lois (Jane Kaczmarek); dim but well-meaning father Hal (Bryan Cranston); smart aleck eldest son Francis (Christopher Masterson) consigned to military school; bullying second-eldest son Reese (Justin Berfield), reluctant boy genius Malcolm (Frankie Muniz); and just plain weird youngest child Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan. The series steered clear of the traditional sitcom trappings as it was shot in a single-camera style, with no laugh track and with frequent fourth wall-breaking commentary by the title hero. Malcolm in the Middle (2000) set itself apart from its competitors with a fresh and consistently funny perspective and the remarkable performances by the entire cast. Perhaps this was in part because the show was loosely autobiographical for Boomer. Linwood continues to work behind the scenes on several TV show projects. He resides in Los Angeles.2000 Malcolm In The Middle- Producer

Emmy-winning talk show host Ellen Lee DeGeneres was born in Metairie, Louisiana, a New Orleans suburb. She is the daughter of Betty DeGeneres (née Elizabeth Jane Pfeffer), a speech therapist, and Elliott Everett DeGeneres, Jr., an insurance agent. Her brother is musician and producer Vance DeGeneres. Her parents divorced when she was 16 years old. Her mother remarried, and her new husband, salesman Roy Gruessendorf, moved the family to Atlanta, Texas.
After graduating from Atlanta High School in 1976, Ellen attended the University of New Orleans as a communications major, but she dropped out after one semester. She held a wide variety of jobs until she turned to stand-up comedy, making her bones at small clubs and coffeehouses before working her way up to emcee Clyde's Comedy Club by 1981. Her comedy was described as a distaff version of Bob Newhart. Beginning in the early 1980s, she toured nationally and was named the funniest person in America after winning a competition sponsored by the cable network Showtime. This led to better gigs, including her first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962) in 1986.
Though DeGeneres's early forays into series television were not successful (she appeared as a supporting player in two short-lived TV situation comedies in the period 1989-92, Open House (1989) and Laurie Hill (1992)), she scored a hit headlining her own 1994 sitcom on ABC "These Friends of Mine" (renamed Ellen (1994) after its first season). She made TV history in April 1997, when her character, and DeGeneres personally, revealed that she was a lesbian. However, the show was canceled the following season due to declining ratings, after which DeGeneres returned to the stand-up circuit. In 2001, DeGeneres launched a new series, The Ellen Show (2001), on CBS, but it suffered from poor ratings and was canceled.
Redemption as a television artist came in 2003, when DeGeneres's daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2003), proved to be both a critical hit and a commercial success. Along with good ratings, the show has won unprecedented kudos from the industry, winning 15 Emmy Awards in its first three seasons on the air and becoming the first talk show in TV history to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show in its first three seasons.
DeGeneres has also made a name for herself as a host of awards shows. She hosted the Grammy Awards in 1996 and 1997, as well as the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2001 and 2005. In February 2007, she had the ultimate TV awards show gig, hosting the Oscars, which she hosted again in 2014.1997 Ellen shared with Mark Driscoll, Dava Savel, Tracy Newman, and Jonathan Stark- Producer

Christopher Lloyd is an American actor with a relatively long career. His better known roles include drug-using taxicab driver Jim Ignatowski in the sitcom Taxi (1978), Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), inventor Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1990), the evil Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), and deranged Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993).
Lloyd was born on October 22, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut. His parents were lawyer Samuel R. Lloyd and singer Ruth Lapham (1896-1984). His maternal uncle was politician Roger Lapham, Mayor of San Francisco (1883-1966, term 1944-1948). His maternal grandfather was businessman Lewis Henry Lapham (1858-1934), co-founder of Texaco Oil Company. Lloyd is a distant descendant of indentured servant John Howland (c. 1592-1673), one of the passengers of the ship Mayflower and signers of the Mayflower Compact.
Lloyd was raised in the town Westport, Connecticut, which changed from a community of farmers to a suburban development during the 20th century. Many artists and writers from New York City settled in the town. Lloyd was educated at Staples High School. He was a co-founder of the Staples Players, the school's theatre company. Lloyd was interested in an acting career, and served as an apprentice at summer theaters in Mount Kisco, New York and Hyannis, Massachusetts. In 1957, he started pursuing acting classes in New York City. He took lessons at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, a full-time professional conservatory for actors. His acting teacher was Sanford Meisner (1905-1997), eponymous creator of the Meisner technique.
Lloyd made his New York theatrical debut in a 1961 production of the play "And They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers" by Fernando Arrabal (1932-). He was reportedly a replacement for another actor. He made his Broadway debut in a 1969 performance of Red, White and Maddox (1969). Until the mid-1970s, Lloyd was primarily a theatrical actor. He performed both on Off-Broadway shows and in Broadway. Lloyd made his film debut in the role of psychiatric patient Max Taber in the drama One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). His first major role in television was drug-using taxicab driver Jim Ignatowski in the sitcom Taxi (1978). His character was an aging hippie, son of an affluent Boston family , and former student of Harvard University. Ignatowski was one of the sitcom's most colorful characters and Lloyd won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
In the 1980s and early 1990s, Lloyd played most of his most notable film roles. Lloyd was first nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor, for his role as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in Back to the Future (1985). The award was instead won by rival actor Roddy McDowall (1928-1998). He was nominated for the same award for his role as the evil Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). The award was instead won by rival actor Robert Loggia (1930-2015). Lloyd also performed as a voice actor, voicing the evil sorcerer Merlock in DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp (1990) and historical figure Grigori Rasputin (1869-1916) in Anastasia (1997). Lloyd had another notable television role when cast in the role of villain Sebastian Jackal in the sci-fi series Deadly Games (1995). He also played the character Dr. Jordan Kenneth Lloyd, the despised father of the series' protagonist Dr. Gus Lloyd (played by James Calvert).
Lloyd's last notable film role in the 1990s was playing the Martian Uncle Martin in My Favorite Martian (1999). The film was an adaptation of the classic sitcom My Favorite Martian (1963), and the character was previously played by Ray Walston (1914-2001). The film under-performed at the box office. In the 2000s, Lloyd played the role of recurring character Cletus Poffenberger in the comic sci-fi series Tremors (2003), and recurring character Professor Harold March in the sitcom Stacked (2005). As March, Lloyd played a retired rocket scientist who was a regular customer of the bookstore which served as the series' setting. In the 2010s, Lloyd returned to the role of Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in cameo appearances in A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) and Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie (2016), and as the protagonist of the short film Back to the Future: Doc Brown Saves the World (2015). By 2020, Lloyd has never retired from acting and continues to appear in various roles.1996 frasier shared with Anne Flett-Giordano, Vic Rauseo, Rob Greenberg, Linda Morris, Joe Keenan, and Chuck Ranburg.- Producer

Barry Harman started his career shortly after graduating from Harvard, where he served as President of Hasty Pudding Show #124 THE WRONWAY INN, (as well as authoring the book and lyrics) and as an editor for Harvard's humor magazine, The Lampoon. In his senior year, he directed and choreographed a critically acclaimed production of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA on the main stage at the Loeb Drama Center (which now houses the American Repertory Theatre). Mr. Harman's first professional job was as a staff writer for THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW, a job he landed by naively writing and sending in sample sketches after reading in Variety that Ms. Burnett had decided to look for a new writing staff for the upcoming season. An agent he met at the time insisted he had no chance of getting the job, every writer in Hollywood was applying. A few months later he began the first of two seasons he spent with the show, contributing sketches for the likes of Maggie Smith, Gloria Swanson and Michael Jackson. He shared in the honors won by the writing staff, winning his first Emmy Award and a Writers Guild Award. While working in prime time, he also began writing for several half-hour sitcoms, most notably for the number one program on TV, ALL IN THE FAMILY. He and his writing partner Harve Brosten partner for thirty-three years) shared an Emmy for "Cousin Liz," along with Bob Weiskopf and Bob Schiller, an episode credited with the first-ever depiction of a devoted same-sex couple, treating the two lesbian school teachers as akin to being married. The moving episode also had political impact when Executive Producer Norman Lear re-aired it the night before an election where a popular amendment was on the ballot, to bar homosexuals from teaching in California. The amendment was defeated. Barry also shared writing credit on the premiere episode of THE JEFFERSONS. That script was recently recreated in a live TV performance with new performers in the leading roles, produced by Jimmy Kimmel, and received a Humanitas Award nomination. After a few years in Los Angeles, he returned to New York, where he would pursue his dream of writing book and lyrics for musical theater. To support himself, he accepted a job writing for a new educational puppet show being produced by Sunbow Productions, Peabody Award Winner THE GREAT SPACE COASTER, primarily because it allowed the chance to get paid for writing both scripts and song lyrics. That began an association with Sunbow that lasted several decades, who tapped him to write lyrics for many projects over the next few decades, including animated series like MY LITTLE PONY, MY LITTLE PONY & FRIENDS and his favorite, JEM, which required nearly 150 songs for Its saga of competing female rock bands. He also contributed lyrics to animated specials like THE GLOFRIENDS SAVE CHRISTMAS and THE CHARMKINS, and the live family special THE SECRET LIFE OF THE VERY YOUNG. Barry's first theatrical effort was TELECAST, an original musical about the children and co-workers of a deceased temperamental variety show star from the early days of TV. Partly inspired by his acquaintance with one of the daughters of vaudevillian Eddie Cantor, the show received a short-lived production at St. Bart's Church. Martin Silvestri was the composer; Barry co-directed with choreographer Wayne Cilento. Shortly after he began a three-year stint as a Creative Consultant/Writer, putting together a series of revues at NYC'S St. Regis Hotel, saluting first Broadway producers, then Broadway songwriters. During the thirteen different productions, he got the chance to work with legendary Broadway performers, including Vivian Blane, Bobby Morse, Larry Kert, Andrea McArdle and Nell Carter. For his work, he received a Best Writing Award from the National Association of Concert and Cabaret Artists. His next theatrical production was OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, presented off-off Broadway at the Actor's Outlet, for which he provided book, lyrics and direction. Grant Sturiale was the composer. Stellar reviews for the show - which featured Ron Raines, Lewis J. Stadlen, Jason Graae and Faith Prince (in the role of "Delores of the Chorus") - sent the show moving off-Broadway to the Lamb's Theater, where it enjoyed a six-month run. Barry received two Drama Desk nominations (Best Lyrics and Direction) and won an Outer Critics Award for Best Lyrics. He also collaborated with composer Burton Lane and book writer Joseph Stein, on a revised version of their short-lived Broadway show CARMELINA, slated for a London premiere. With lyricist and co-book writer Alan Jay Lerner's approval, Barry penned six new numbers for the show. The London production never materialized, but the show has had three different incarnations at the York Theater in its Musicals in Mufti presentations. His next project, ROMANCE/ROMANCE, written with composer Keith Herrmann, and for which he again provided book Lyrics and direction transferred after an off-off Broadway debut to Broadway's Helen Hayes Theater, where it ran for 297 performances and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The show starred Scott Bakula and Alison Fraser, both of whom received Tony nominations. Barry was nominated for Best Book as were he and Keith for Best Score. ROMANCE/ROMANCE received four Outer Critics Circle Awards (Best Musical, Book, Music and Lyrics) and a Drama Desk nom for Lyrics. The show continues to be produced world-wide, and in 2019 had its first same-sex (all male) production, directed by Steven Dexter, receiving several OFFIE nominations. After directing several road companies of ROMANCE/ROMANCE, Barry began working as a head writer for children's educational TV - Nick Jr'.s ALLEGRA'S WINDOW, The Comedy Network's BIG BAG, Discovery's ONCE UPON A TREE, and Sunbow's SALTY'S LIGHTHOUSE. He also contributed scripts and lyrics to CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, OUT OF THE BOX, and THE WONDER PETS. He wrote the Emmy Award winning HBO Family Special, HOW DO YOU SPELL GOD?, and the PBS Great Performances SOME ENCHANTED EVENINGS: A Salute to Oscar Hammerstein. LONG ROAD HOME was a musical presented at the Hudson Guild, the result of his collaboration with composer Kathy Sommer. A concert musical about a recovering alcoholic confronting the physically abusive relationship she left behind, it had a limited run of six weeks. The authors are at work on a revised version. Recently, they completed a musical based on Anna Sewell's classic, BLACK BEAUTY, the book about horses that is credited with launching the animal rights movement. With OLYMPUS ON MY MIND composer Grant Sturiale, he authored a musical version of UNDER FIRE, based on the Nick Nolte/Gene Hackman movie about newsmen covering a revolution in Central America who must choose between unseating a murderous dictator or adhering to the tenets of impartial journalism. The show was produced at NYMF, and won the Theater for the American Musical Award. ROMANCE/ROMANCE composer Keith Herrmann and Barry have just finished INCREDIBLE HIGH, a musical comedy about Victorian author Wilkie Collins, as he struggles against his opium addiction to complete his latest novella, 'The Haunted Hotel". A loving spoof of Victorian mystery novels, it features a female protagonist, who may or may not be involved in a murder and insurance fraud.1978 All In The Family shared with Bob Schriller, Bob Weiskopf, and Harve Borsten- Writer
