Scornfully, Flint decides to sell out and go to Australia, leaving the Christians at the mercy of the nabob. When the village is set afire, Lola implores Flint to call for aid; he fights the ship's crew; Haynes is mortally wounded; Lola, in desperation, prays for guidance; and Flint succeeds in communicating with marines, who quell the uprising.

John Strickland, the minister, prevents McLean from harming his old nemesis, but when Heritage steals McLean's boat and flees to an outgoing steamship, the incensed trader chases him, and Strickland follows to prevent further mayhem. During the pursuit, a violent storm hits, and Tony Heritage's death allows McLean to return to his island trading post and marry Joie.

Taking the hijackers' craft to a small island, Jerry sends a radio message for help to Peggy's father, a cashiered naval officer; Pietro intercepts the radio message, goes to the island, and forces Peggy and Jerry aboard the rum-runner. Peggy manages to send an S. O. S. signal to a U. S. warship before Pietro dynamites the boat. Peggy and Jerry survive the explosion and are picked up by a Navy warship; Pietro is captured, and Jerry uses his influence to have the elder O'Day cleared of the false charges that led to his disgrace. Peggy and Jerry make plans to be wed.

Duncan leaves in a fit of jealousy, but he soon returns with a servant named Olga as a peace offering. She and Percy fall in love, while Ollie hangs himself, leaving a note confessing to his murderous instincts. Chaddie and Duncan become parents and find happiness in their prairie home.

The Wolves heat knives with which to torture the reunited lovers, but before they can be used, the police arrive and open fire on the Wolves' hideout. During the excitement, Marie, who has joined the Wolves, repents of her hate and releases Adele and Jean. They jump from an open window just as the hideout is destroyed by artillery fire. Jean decides to repent, and the lovers look forward to a romantic future together.

Jeff is overpowered in a fight but pursues the men to their hideout and by a clever ruse gets the drop on them. Later, he forces a confession of guilt from Lawrence, and Laura is arrested. Jeff and Pauline are united.

Bob goes to the Athletic Club to force Dornton's apology; and Snipe Collins, in a fight with Blake, one of Dornton's men, kills him while he (Collins) is to inform the governor by telephone of Dornton's treachery. Unaware of the act, Bob returns home and is arrested for murder. At the trial Mrs. Fenway makes a plea for his innocence and is unable to pardon him when she is impeached by Dornton's scheming; but Old Lem, having overheard incriminating evidence, brings it to bear against Collins.

The police judge takes a look at the girl, confiscates her and the plunder, and orders the young thief's decapitation. But the notary remembers that the thief has promised to pull the sultan's whiskers, thus automatically moving the case to the Wazir's court; the Wazir also falls for the girl and orders an execution. The thief escapes, and disguised as the Wazir, he saves the life of the sultan, winning forgiveness for his sins; and as Wazir he purchases the slave girl for his wife.

Cal, realizing that he is now really married, decides to reform but he isn't far along in his program before Sheriff Bentley and a posse of deputies show up looking for Jennie, and the outlaws think Cal has gone too far too fast reference his reformation and blame him. To prove otherwise Cal joins the gang in a battle against the law and wounds the sheriff, but later saves his life. Gang leader Butch is killed in a duel with Cal, and Jennie decides that Cal is the man for her.
