- A bum and an escaped convict find a kidnapped boy and try to bring him home.
- Snub and Fat are roommates and vaudevillians. When the call for an audition comes, they pull out the stops to land the job, despite the poor reception by the chorus girls. When that fails, they turn to bill-collecting.
- At the Sans Scruples Hotel, the house fire inspector has to steer clear of a vamp and her jealous husband, and put out a fire to win the girl.
- Two colleagues spend their lives to see how they get some money but they are a disaster. They destroy everything until they are made to pass as princes at a high-ranking party.
- "Snub" Pollard plays a hick whose pa packs him off to his aunt's home in the big city. He fits in awkwardly with her hoity society world. News of his oil-well inheritance makes the more mercenary flappers pay attention, notably a vampish cousin (named Cleopatra, no less). It's a funny culture-clash showcase for slight, droopy-moustached comedian Pollard, an Australian vaudevillian who entered movies in 1915 and became a staple in two-reeler vehicles for himself and others (including Harold Lloyd). He remained a familiar face onscreen right up until his death in 1962, making one of his final cameo appearances in the Chubby Checker dance-craze flick TWIST AROUND THE CLOCK. - Dennis Harvey
- Snub joins the Army and is sent to France. There, while behind enemy lines, he meets a pretty orphan girl and her little brother and decides to help them. The inept Germans don't stand a chance.
