- Popeye's birthday, and Olive managed to get enough rationed sugar to bake him a cake, so she invites him over. Shorty is suicidal because he never gets any mail; Popeye invites him, too. But Shorty is also accident prone. He goes to wash his hands, and manages to flood Popeye right into the sewer. He assembles the ingredients, then manages to get them all over Popeye. Olive tells Popeye to wash up; Shorty runs the water, and we get another flood. Shorty decides Popeye needs to play some games, so they play baseball, golf, and hockey in Olive's living room, all ending disastrously for Popeye. Popeye manages to cut a hole in the floor; Shorty falls in, Popeye throws a rug on it, then Olive arrives carrying the cake and falls in. Soon, everyone's in the furnace in the cellar.
- The contemporary adventures of the Norse god of thunder and lightning.
- Olive is preparing a birthday party for Popeye. He arrives too soon, and she assigns his nephews (only three in this picture) to keep him out until she's ready. They do this in their usual creative ways.
- In this Paramount Noveltoon (production number P6-3) Police Officer Flanagan gives a little blind girl, Billie, a Raggety-Ann doll, and she is told she can see it if she uses her imagination; she does so and the slum neighborhood is transformed into an enchanted fairyland, alive with beautiful colors and music.

- Popeye is settling in for a nap in his hammock, but every sound in the city is disturbing him until he moves indoors. Even there, he's plagued by houseflies. He chases them outdoors, except for one. That one ends up in a spinach can and gives Popeye a real fight.
- There's feudin', fussin' and a whole lot of good ol' fashioned fun goin' on as those back woods rascals, Barney Google and Snuffy Smith, rustle up a rib-ticklin' tub of mountain mirth. Barney and Snuffy are joined by the craziest collection of cantankerous characters ever to come out of them thar' hills, including Loweezy, Jughaid and Jerky Jockey for hours of down home country comedy.
- While investigating an egyptologist's mysterious death, Superman must battle dangerous mummies.
- Casper emerges from a subway station, following a crowd of scared strangers. He encounters a man saying "see the wonders of the moon for ten cents," and offering a sight through a telescope. Casper scares the man away, then uses the telescope to see the moon. He then flies to the moon for a visit. Casper lands on the moon, disappointed to find no man on the moon. He lies down to nap, then tiny moon men emerge from holes. They capture Casper, like Lilliputians did to Gulliver, then place him in a cage on wheels, in which they tow him to the Ruler of the Moon, King Luna. The King addresses Casper as a monster, and treats him as an enemy. Casper playfully picks up King Luna, and the king has him placed in the royal dungeon. A dejected Casper is imprisoned. Then animated trees attack the city of the moon men. The moon men defend their fortified city with flaming missiles. The tree monsters fight back with water, then break through the town walls. When the fight seems lost to the tree monsters, Casper escapes his cage, and helps the moon men. Casper goes underground. The friendly ghost then pulls trees' parts through the moon surface and ties them together, immobilizing the trees. The frustrated trees writhe and strain against the knots Casper has tied. Casper and the moon men have won. Then, and only then, does King Luna embrace Casper as a friend. King Luna knights Casper for the valiant defense of his people. Then all the moon men join in singing the Casper theme song.

- Lois Lane and an explorer set out on an expedition through an underground cavern and discover a race of hawk-men. When these creatures prepare a ritual sacrifice for the adventurous pair, Superman comes to the rescue.
- Popeye takes Olive to the carnival; while he's busy winning candy at the "ring the bell" stand, strongman Bluto muscles in on her. There follows the inevitable contest, invevitably rigged.
- Popeye and Bluto fight over taking Olive out; she decides they'll all stay home together. While looking over a family album, Popeye tells the story of a day-long fight he and Bluto had as infants.
- The boys see lovely nurse Olive pass by and follow her to her hospital. She throws them out, so they scheme to hurt themselves enough to get hospitalized, with no luck. Bluto gets a wall to fall on him, but stands in the window. Popeye tries to get run over by a steam-roller, but a street cleaner saves him. Bluto dives off a skyscraper - into a huge pile of mattresses. Popeye stands in a naval gunnery range, but the gunners miss the target. Bluto taunts a bull, but stands next to a billboard of an attractive cow, which distracts the bull. Popeye crashes a plane, but the ambulance crew rescues the plane. The boys compete to get run over by a train, but punch each other off the tracks just as the train arrives. Finally, Popeye forces a can of spinach down Bluto's throat and gets a pounding. That lands him in the hospital but not Olive's; they failed to notice the sign: "Cat and Dog Hospital." They start fighting like cats and dogs, and get hauled off to the looney bin.
- Olive is building a house when the boys happen by. They show off a bit to convince her to let them build her house for her. She decides to split the job in half by splitting the blueprints in half and having each build one side of the house. Of course, "cooperation" isn't in their vocabulary. Bluto does an extremely sloppy job on his half, and also takes every opportunity to either sabotage Popeye or trick him into doing more work. Meanwhile, Popeye's making enough of his own mistakes, many of which seem to involve wedging Olive into small bent pipes. Eventually, Popeye has his spinach and finishes the house, but the house collapses as they are celebrating with a kiss.
- A crook dressed as Superman commits a series of robberies. The real Superman must work fast to counter the bad publicity.
- Lulu and a friend try everything they can to get their dog to win in a dog show.
- The villainous Wolf, desiring wine, women and song, fleeces Blackie the Sheep out of his money and heads off to whet his pleasure appetites. A vampish nightclub entertainer soon separates the wolf from his ill-gotten gains, and the femme-fatale turn out to be Blackie in disguise.
- Popeye is enjoying watering his patriotic garden on July 4 when he catches his nephews attempting to light fireworks. The game is on when he attempts to confiscate the fireworks and the boys strike back with edgy pranks. Bluto and Olive Oyl do not appear in this cartoon.
- While Clark Kent is in wartime Japan, Superman becomes a saboteur.
- Popeye and Bluto sing the title song on their way to Rio riding on the back of a donkey. In Rio, they visit a nightclub, where the featured singer/dancer is, of course, Olive Oyl. Both of the boys instantly fall for her, but she only has eyes for Popeye. Bluto figures he'll get his revenge by claiming the awkward Popeye is a champion samba dancer. He tries to fake it, and to hide from the spotlight, but no luck, until he breaks out the spinach. Bluto tries various other ways to sabotage his dancing, but the spinach-powered Popeye is too fleet of foot for Bluto to do any harm. In a final twirl with Olive, they end up with their clothes swapped.
- Audrey imagines inventing machines to thwart an alien invasion.
- Little Audrey shoots a baby bird with her air rifle and is mortified when the bird's mother, and all the other woodland animals, go into mourning.
- Popeye sights land, disembarks from his raft and enters a café. He orders a meal, which the manager is glad to give him as he is a cannibal chef. Before long, Popeye finds in a large pot being cooked for dinner for a cannibal tribe. Popeye thinks this may be harmful to his health...and pops open a can of spinach.
- T.V. Fuddlehead is a television fan. He watches the early-shows, the late late-shows and the in-between-shows. He buys all the products advertised on the commercials. He wins a huge home with all the luxuries but it is built on an island in the middle of nowhere...and has no television reception.
- This entry in the "Noveltoons" series (production number P5-3)is an animated "follow-the-bouncing-ball" audience participation sing-along with Farmer MacDonald having his hands full with the barnyard population. It ends with the animals in a Conga line singing their animated hearts out.
- Popeye drops a TV off at the orphanage; the program that comes on is a boxing match he's supposed to be in, so he dashes off. The fight is against the champ, who is huge. Popeye gets pummelled in the first round, but his fighting spirit materializes and advises him to outwit his opponent. In the second round, he does so. The champ then uses a light socket to "burn out" Popeye so he can't outthink him, and (as with the rest of this pun-filled match) "knocks him cold", turning him into a block of ice. The orphans feed Popeye his spinach right through the TV set, and he comes back to knock the champ through the screen.
- Possum Pearl, in the character's second appearance after a Popeye short earlier that year, is in search of a husband to the terror of all her kinfolk. Until a crook comes to town.
- Olive is so captivated by "The International", a television personality with a French accent, that she'd rather stay home than go out on a date with Popeye. Bluto, overhearing this, comes to the door as the character. Popeye does his best to get Olive back, to no avail. Finally, Bluto challenges Popeye to a duel, ultimately stabbing him in the chest where his can of spinach was. Popeye unmasks Bluto, then eats another can of spinach to give himself a French accent.
- The boys are taking Olive on a picnic. It's April 1, and Bluto plays a series of "jokes" on Popeye, though of course they go beyond the bounds of acceptability, particularly once they get to the picnic grounds; Bluto puts gasoline on the fire he asks Popeye to light and swaps a beehive for the lemonade. Bluto then launches a cruel joke against Olive and frames Popeye. The capper: he replaces Popeye's spinach with a joke can, and runs off with Olive for some canoeing. But Popeye gets the last laugh with an inflatable sea monster.
- Popeye is taking Olive on a boat ride when she spots a pirate ship. They are soon captured, and Popeye has to rescue Olive from the (initially charming) pirate captain. He tries tricks, such as dressing in drag, but without the spinach, he has no luck. Fortunately, a passing swordfish, reading a Popeye comic book, recognizes him and feeds him the spinach on the comic's cover.
- Olive Oyl, a regular Rosie the Riveter, receives a blow to the head from a swinging grappling hook, sending her into a sleepwalking state. Popeye and Bluto, two rival factory workers, fight each other for privilege of saving her life.
- A French shopkeeper's life is disrupted by a daily parade. The parade consists of "ze king, ze premier, all ze lords and ministers, army, navy, department sanitaire." When the "department sanitaire" hits a pothole, all the garbage gets dumped onto the street in front of his store.
- Popeye and Bluto are running for president; it's election day, the vote is tied, and Olive is the only remaining voter.
- The big bad wolf is hungry and thinks lamb-chops would fill his need, so he puts the a snatch of a couple of Uncle Blackie's fleecy-white nephews. Uncle Blackie takes offense at this and dispatches the wolf and rescues his little kinsmen. This minor setback has not diminished the wolf's appetite for lamb, so he disguises himself as Little Boy Blue and sets out once again to get a lamb-dinner. This doesn't work, either, but the odds are high that the wolf is out there somewhere working on a Little Bo-Peep outfit.
- Olive is reading ghost stories to the boys. Popeye scoffs; Bluto decides to take advantage of this by staging various pranks (a headless man, an animated skeleton, and a sheet-over-balloon ghost). He pins the blame on Popeye and then goes to comfort Olive. Popeye retaliates by turning invisible, thanks to a jar of vanishing cream.
- Hubert Duck is forced by his wife to take his son, Baby Huey, on his fishing trip. Huey causes all kinds of trouble and ends up catching a whale.
